I’m an average guy from Appleton, Wisconsin who loves authentic tacos and scotch immediately after motorcycling. In 2014 I purchased my first ride, a 1997 Kawasaki KLR650. It served quite well as a first ride to learn with (this includes a couple fun, harmless lowside crashes), and allowed me to embark on an amazing and forever memorable journey from Wisconsin to Alaska with my cousin in 2016. It was a fun-filled yet personal adventure for us to return our Alaskan Native grandmother’s ashes to her birthplace of Mary’s Igloo, Alaska. The trip taught me a lot about perseverance and keeping one’s momentum in life forward, but I had realized off-roading just wasn’t a facet of riding I had much patience for. Due to this, I purchased a 2016 Triumph Bonneville T100 in 2017, and it currently serves as my means of road therapy, moto-camping excursions, and the impetus to combine my enjoyment of photography and writing under the Unwound and Bound name. In 2021, I picked up a used 2015 Triumph Tiger 800 XRx, which has so far proven the most suitable and comfortable for packing up on longer trips and camps. It is by far, my most favorite motorcycle yet, although the T100 has such raw character and addicting sound. Because of the Tigers white color scheme, it is the first bike I ever named, “Betty Fuckin’ White”. Over the years I have also done quite a bit of graphic and website design, and playing guitar/writing music. However, motorcycling has definitely taken over my focus the last few years!
